StrucTime Furnace · Limited use

Furnace plays out thousands of possible futures of a site and keeps those where something breaks. For each, it says why, when, and what to do about it.

The funnel of futures

## Furnace explores thousands of worlds and keeps the ones that matter.

You never know for sure how worn a part is, how hot a room gets or what is in stock. Furnace varies everything uncertain, within plausible, sourced ranges.

1. 01 The starting point The real state of the site, or that state with a planned action: a shutdown, a manoeuvre, a transient.
2. 02 Thousands of worlds Each varies wear, room climate, load, weather, backups and stocks.
3. 03 The sort A fast calculation discards the harmless worlds. Suspicious ones go through a finer calculation.
4. 04 The worlds where it breaks For each: the probability, the date, the chain of consequences and the condition that tips everything.
5. 05 The plan Furnace works out the best plan to get out, with the risk that remains.

The answer

## You ask a question, Furnace answers with its evidence.

Each conclusion cites its measurement, its law and its source. What is established is drawn solid, what remains a hypothesis is dashed.

« What if I cut switchboard TGBT-2 for six hours? »

Risk High

Two chiller units lose their backup power during the work.

Chain of consequences

1. TGBT-2 cut
2. Chillers 1 and 2 without backup
3. Manual switchover in 40 minutes Hypothesis
4. Server room above 32 °C Hypothesis

What the answer rests on

- single-line-diagram-v7.pdf sheet 4, backed-up feeders
- RE: weekend on-call manual switchover takes 40 min
- supervision · 90 days both units run continuously

What you can do

- Switch to TGBT-1 before the cut
- Move the work outside the heating period

Confidence

82 %

Two sources out of three are less than six months old.

Two ways to use it

## It runs continuously or on demand.

### Continuously

Furnace starts from the real state of the site and flags what may break, before the failure comes.

### On demand

Before a shutdown, a job or a manoeuvre, you ask what could go wrong and how to avoid it.

The horizon runs from one hour to five years: the longer it is, the wider the range, and Furnace says so.

What feeds Furnace

## It learns from the trade, from your data and from every failure.

01

### Reliability knowledge

Failure laws, rates, common causes and industry feedback. Furnace comes filled, with packs by sector.

02

### Site data

Sensors, live control systems, maintenance software, and dead data: emails, spreadsheets, documents nobody rereads.

03

### Experience

Every real failure narrows the ranges. The longer Furnace runs on a site, the tighter its estimates.

Our stance

## Every figure can be checked.

### Figures come from calculation

Detection and simulation rest on calibrated physical and statistical laws. No figure given to a customer comes out of a learned model.

### Read only

Furnace never touches your machines. It reads, it proposes, and you decide.

### Everything is proven

Each conclusion points to its source: this sensor, this document, this measurement.

Who it is for

## Furnace works wherever a failure is costly.

- Energy
- Industry
- Datacenters
- Healthcare
- Logistics
- Water and fluids
- Wind power
- Rail

Pilot sites

## Let's replay a failure you have been through.

You share the history of a site. Furnace replays a past failure, and you see whether it would have seen it coming.

Questions

## What we are asked most.

Industrial intelligence software. It simulates the possible futures of a site and explains, with sources, how a piece of equipment could fail and how to prevent it.

No. Furnace is read only by design, and every action stays in your hands.

From physical and statistical laws calibrated on your site. Our world model only helps explore the futures to compute faster.

Furnace covers every physical failure, sudden breakage included. IT and cyber failures will come in a separate module.
